Panama: Hygiene and preventive measures applicable to individuals coming from the United Kingdom, South Africa, India and South America who are to enter the national territory

By Executive Decree No. 783 of Friday, the 18th of June, 2021, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Panama has established hygiene and preventive sanitary measures for Panamanians or foreigners as residents of Panama, who are to enter the national territory and have either stayed or transited through the United Kingdom, the Republic of South Africa, India or South America.

As of the 23rd of June, 2021, any person of Panamanian nationality or foreigner registered as resident in the national territory who has the respective documentation, and who is coming from, or  has stayed in or transited through the United Kingdom, the Republic of South Africa, India o South America during the last 15 days prior to arriving in the country will be exempt from the three-day quarantine and molecular test upon arrival, if she or he submits the following documents (either physically or digitally):

1. Negative Result of the Covid-19 Test within 48 hours of validity, issued by a certified laboratory or carried out when entering the Tocumen International Airport with a negative result.

2. A Card or Digital Certification of the complete immunization scheme with vaccines endorsed by WHO, EMA and FDA, equal to or longer than 14 days after her or his last dose.
